I have now started the production of my newspaper. There have been some changes to my initial plan and ideas. I have changed some of the stories i first planned to do; I still have my main story of "Bristol’s world cup bid advance" but have changed the title to "Bristol's World Cup Bid Kicks Off". I did this to make the story sound more interesting and added a pun as from my research I found pun's is popular in local newspapers. However, i have eliminated the timeline idea for this story due to lack of space on the page.
I have got rid of the stories "Performance at Pier opening" and "Party at pool to celebrate season" because of the lack of pictures available to get but have changed them into other real life events, "Bank holiday hold up due to suicide jump" and "Marathon winner backs Olympic bid" - which is my only fictional story.
I have also designed and made my adverts and two supplement "splashes" to correspond to the adverts i have seen in my local paper research.
