Rough Cut

At this stage I have just completed the "rough cut" version of my local newspaper. We looked at each others work as a group and evaluated it. We talked through each person’s piece and told them what was good and what they could possibly change.

This is the first production of my front page but with make shift photos to give an idea of what it would look like. This was peer accessed and shown to members of my target audience to get there opinions on what they like and what they didn't.

In my peer assessment i was told to compact my title, by getting rid of the big areas of white page to make it look better. I also changed one of my adverts to make it look more professional. On my second page I was told to improve my layout and try and fit in another story. To do this I made my main article slightly smaller and added another article below. I still managed to keep all the same features as before but compact everything and get more in to the same space.
